Yesterday a serious issue in the digital world came up, one that could have affected this site, and could affect up to 70% of the worlds web sites. I’ve been in touch with the technical support people where I rent server space, and all is well, they were right on top of the issue, updating things promptly.
Another technical issue in the digital world leaves us all well advised to keep our operating systems and software promptly and completely up to date. I have less understanding about this issue, it involves security certifications, but I have it on advisement from a reliable source the keeping things up to date will be extremely important for the next while.
Attila and I are getting better day by day, we both have our energy levels back, but the chest congestion is slow to leave us. We are now managing a one mile walk, and have decided to be happy with that until we are completely recovered.
Today I baked two dozen muffins, and made a batch of Cream of Broccoli Soup Base, a busy day for me.
Attila did some work on sealing the sump pump in the basement, an experiment to assess its contribution to the high radon levels in the house.
The heating system has not been turned on yet, but it will not be long now before the thermostat will be put to good use!
So we are happily bumbling through the days here at Mist Cottage.
