Setting Things Up

An RSS feed is the way things are done these days.  My original hand-coded online journal began in 1999, before the word blog came into being, before blog software for servers was introduced.  I created a site and uploaded my entries. Here it is June, 2010, I’m still creating a page for each entry and uploading it, just as I did in 1999.  I’d keep on doing it too, if it were not for RSS. Time for a change?

I’ve decided to give WordPress a go.  The skill set for customizing this server software is completely different than that used when designing a static web site.  I’ll be puttering for quite a while until I get things looking the way I want them to look.
