For the last number of months I have been exposed to toxic doses of unkindness. This whole business of my allergy and having to wrangle for my own safety, with the surgeon, with the surgeon’s office, with the anaesthetist, only to have my surgery cancelled at the “last minute”, was one unkind interaction after another, it went on and on and on.
Today, as part of my recovery, the kind good wishes for my Mom moved me to tears. Sincere well wishes are so precious, and at times they are rare.
So thank you for the well wishes. My Mom appreciates them, and I find I really really needed to experience their beauty.
