Today is the last day of Winter!
I arose early, before the light of day, to look out the window. Winter greeted me with a world of white. It was snowing, and continued to snow throughout the morning hours.
The sun came out, the temperature rose above 0C, and the snow began to melt.
Spring will bring more snow I am sure, but it also brings strong sunshine, and warmth, and these factors vie daily for dominance on the landscape. Eventually the worlds stays brown, then takes on a green tinge, then becomes verdantly green.
So let it snow, I know what to expect!

The media may have changed, the message has not.
I live in the land of, “if you don’t like the weather, wait an hour and it will change.” We had a low of 26F yesterday and are forecast a high of 88F on Sunday. It’s called spring, but we frequently have all four seasons in less than a week.
Wendy, the 88F sounds a little too warm for me. That is quite a temperature range, every day must be an adventure, figuring out how to adjust to weather conditions!
My day started out the same way, fortunately tomorrow’s first day of spring is supposed to be a bit warmer.
Teri, here we are, my reply is the first day of spring, and it has snowed all morning here! The temperature is holding at 0C, but there is some melting going on In a few weeks this will all be forgotten as we look forward into warmer weather!
