Turmeric Breakfast Cookies Maggie Style

1 egg
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup pureed squash or finely grated carrot

1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
5 shakes salt
2 tsp ground turmeric
½ tsp freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
½ tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
3 tablespoons flax seed
1/4 cup chocolate chips
½ cup raisins

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.

Mix egg with peanut butter, vanilla, and carrot/squash/applesauce.

In a separate bowl mix all other ingredients together.

Add egg mixture to dry mixture, and mix thoroughly.

Line a baking pan with parchment paper or very lightly grease it, or use a silicon baking mat.

Placing 12 balls of dough on a baking pan and press each ball down into a cookie. Bake for 12-15 minutes until firm and golden brown.
