Squash Sauce Maggie’s Own

1 500 ml jar of Squash Sauce
This is my Squash Sauce, a double recipe, which yielded a 500 ml jar.
We use this as a substitute for Thai Hot Chili Sauce. If you don’t have Cowboy Candy Juice you can substitute 1/4 cup sugar and hot sauce to taste.

Ingredients
½ cup squash puree
1/4 cup Cowboy Candy Juice (this adds sweetness and heat)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 ½ boiled prunes
1/8 tsp garlic granules
1/8 tsp onion flakes
1/8 tsp powdered ginger
pinch of xanthan gum (optional)

Directions
Add ingredients to a blender, puree, refrigerate.
