Canadian Maggie Turner writes and publishes poetry, photography, and a personal journal online. Her work reflects the current way of life in Canada, embracing Canada’s past, present, and future in a unique portrayal of everyday life. Maggie’s voice is one of the many that actively depict the rich diversity of Canadian culture.
Maggie’s journal has been online since October 1999. From that time until June 11, 2010, Maggie published her journal on a “static” web site, a web site coded by hand and created before the era of the “blog”. The web site is still online for anyone who wishes to read the early entries. The original site also features Maggie’s poetry and photography.
In order to adopt new technology, Maggie began using WordPress blogging software in June of 2010.
