on the run

Yesterday was the first day I worked both the full-time and the part-time job on the same day. A bit tiring.

This morning I’m writing this on the run, as I prepare to leave for work, my full-time job. Still enjoying it, very much.

Henry and Em were here on Sunday to pick up some items I ordered for them. We had a nice chat, and then we found a black fly on my arm! NOOOOOO! Not yet, the last of the snow just melted. The flies aren’t thick yet though, which is a blessing. The nice thing about black flies is that if they follow you indoors they head for the windows to escape and lose all interest in biting you.

Still cloudy today, rain expected.

“Whenever I dwell for any length of time on my own shortcomings, they gradually begin to seem mild, harmless, rather engaging little things, not at all like the staring defects in other people’s characters.”
